Shannon ChildCare is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm. The price structure is basedd on the number of nursery days and hours within a week over the year (49-week period, inclusive of Bank Holidays), as a fixed monthly rate.
We offer pescatarian and vegetarian food, using protein in different forms such as pulses, beans, cheese, eggs and fish etc. please see our Nutrition & Menu section. The price includes two courses for lunch and dinner and we provide hot food for both meals. Everything is prepared by our brilliant Chef, and our children love our food, eating second and sometimes third portions! During the day our children are also offered snacks and drinks (excluding formula milk).

Early Drop-Off / Late Pick-Up & After Hours Service; Baby Sitting
For those parents that require early drop-offs and/or late pick-ups there is a surcharge. We also offer a ‘Baby Sitting’ service, at a special discount rate for Shannon ChildCare‘s parents. Please contact our administration department to discuss this further.
Holiday Learning Clubs/Hubs
Through popular demand Shannon ChildCare offer Holiday Learning Clubs for children aged 6 years and under. Unlike other clubs we are open at 8am till 6pm and include 3 meals, snacks and drinks within our prices. Please contact 020 8958 6630 for more information on our fun learning hubs.
All children are entitled to 15 hours childcare the term after their 3rd birthday (38 weeks per year, term time only). Furthermore, 3 and 4 year olds of qualifying, working parents in England are also able to access a further 15 hours, resulting in a total of 30 hours funded childcare per week over the 38 week period. This is only available if you are eligible. Please contact us, as places are dependent on days and hour availability. Childcare Vouchers / Tax Free Childcare
Shannon ChildCare accepts all Childcare Vouchers including the Government Tax Free Childcare Scheme; this enables working parents to reduce the cost of childcare by offering tax efficient savings when paying for nursery fees. There is a maximum of £2,000 per child per year. It is the parents’ responsibility to ensure the Tax Free Childcare payments are set up correctly.
